The Clarinet and Saxophone Society of Victoria was formed in 1978 with the aim of promoting all aspects of single reed music, with a strong focus on participation. This covers performing, listening to and developing skills in clarinet and saxophone music at all levels - from beginners (adults as well as children) to professional players, and from students to teachers.
The society's activities and facilities include monthly 'Play-In' groups for clarinettists and saxophonists, performance competitions, recitals and concerts, VCE repertoire night, a VCE masterclass. There is an extensive music lending library of ensemble music and the Society maintains a register of clarinet and saxophone teachers.

The DCA promotes and implements workshops and seminars in Dalcroze Eurhythmics music education throughout Australia.
Dalcroze Eurhythmics is based on the premise that the human body is the source of all musical ideas. It allows us to gain a practical, physical experience of music before we theorise and perform. This ensures that the whole person (not just the fingers and the brain) is educated in the development of musicianship and artistry.

The Victorian Orff Schulwerk Association (VOSA) aims to promote the teaching of music and movement education according to the philosophies and principles contained in the teachings of Carl Orff and Gunild Keetman through study, practice and discussion, i.e. activities such as workshops, conferences, training courses, accreditation courses, professional development programs and bi-monthly newsletters. Membership is open to anyone interested in teaching music, especially classroom music to children in pre-school, primary and secondary schools.
