Richard Gill

Richard Gill, OAM, is one of Australia’s pre-eminent and most admired conductors specialising in opera, musical theatre and vocal and choral training and is internationally respected as a music educator. Richard’s work in developing young musicians and creating opportunities for them is recognised world-wide. He is Founding Music Director and Conductor Emeritus of Victorian Opera and also Artistic Director of the Education Program for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. He has been Artistic Director of OzOpera, Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, and the Adviser for the Musica Viva In Schools program.

Ian Harvey

Peter Lee

Peter has worked in the field of Music Education and Technology for 15 years, and is one of the original authors of the Auralia and Musition educational music software packages.  He has worked extensively in the USA, UK and Australia, consulting with teachers and students to better identify appropriate technology solutions for the modern music classroom. The Auralia Ear Training and Musition Theory Training package are widely acknowledged as leading software training aids in music classrooms and studios.

Lorraine Milne

Lorraine Milne has worked as a musician and music educator all her adult life. She has composed, recorded and published hundreds of songs for children as well as many theatre productions including Jack Hibberd’s Dimboola. She was a founding member of the Australian Performing Group at the Pram Factory and worked for 15 years on Music Branch, Education Department of Victoria, producing new songbooks and curriculum support materials. As a composer, arranger and musical director, Milne has worked extensively with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, as well as Suzuki, Yamaha Music and AMEB.

Deborah Smith

Deborah Smith is the author of the highly successful "Musicianship and Aural Training for the Secondary School" series of music texts and compact discs, designed around the pedagogical principles of Kodály Music Education.

Robin Stevens

Robin Stevens was formerly Associate Professor of Music Education in the Faculty of Education at Deakin University, Burwood and is now a Principal Fellow in the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Faculty of the VCA and MCM at The University of Melbourne. His early school music teaching appointments included Director of Music at University High School, Parkville.

Katie Wardrobe

Midnight Music’s director Katie Wardrobe is a music technology trainer and consultant with a passion for helping music teachers. She runs hands-on professional development workshops throughout Australia and a series of after-hours online courses. Her workshops and courses focus on incorporating technology into the music curriculum through a range of creative projects.
