Our Annual VCE Conference 2024 was an uplifting day of ideas, insights, and innovation that left a lasting impression on attendees. Held on Sunday March 3rd, in Trinity Grammar School, the event brought together educators, policymakers, and industry professionals eager to explore the latest developments and best practice in VCE Music.

From engaging workshops to special key-note speeches from the recently retired VCAA Curriculum Manager Margaret Arnold, there was palpable enthusiam as delegates engaged in lively discussions and shared best practices. Attendees had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into the the Chief Assessor reports during a morning session dedicated to discussing these findings.

In the afternoon, participants had the opportunity to explore a diverse range of workshops and presentations led by renowned experts in the field. Attendees immersed themselves in hands-on activities, embracing innovative teaching methodologies and discovering new resources to enhance student learning experiences.

As we reflect on the success of the VCE Conference 2024, we are filled with gratitude for all those who contributed to its success. We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to empower our members with opportunities for further Professional Development throughout the year.

We also want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to Margaret Arnold for her dedicated service and work with the VCAA, as well as her support of aMuse over the past few years. We wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.
